Turck's new cabinet condition monitor - cabinet guard is capable of monitoring moisture and temperature limits while also detecting incorrectly closed doors. As an added benefit, the device monitors unauthorized access to switch cabinets, providing protection against manipulation in compliance with IT security regulations. The slim 12.5 mm DIN-rail cabinet guard can be easily installed in existing switch cabinets due to its compact design.
- Two potential-free contacts
- Temperature detection
- Moisture detection
- Detection of distance to cabinet door
- IO-Link parameterizable
- Connection of two devices via CAN bus
- Galvanic isolation of outputs (A1/A2)
- Removable screw terminals
The IM12-CCM features an internal data logger with time stamp and stores data for up to two years, allowing users to detect creeping changes over long periods of time. An interface enables two cabinet guards to be operated in master-slave mode simultaneously, monitoring the data of the slave and sends a signal to the controller.
The standard IM12-CCM comes with two switch contacts and an IO-Link interface. Quick teach mode enables the user to set the limit values easily in the field. Alternatively, the parameters can be set via IO-Link or an FDT framework such as PACTware.
For hazardous areas use the IMX12-CCM module.
