Predict Potential Failures in Electrical Equipment With The GraceSense Hot Spot Monitor (HSM)

The GraceSense Hot Spot Monitor (HSM) is a non-conductive temperature monitoring device created to identify potential hot spots and allow users to predict failures in electrical equipment. Identifying faults before they occur saves money when unplanned outages, service interruptions, and equipment failures are avoided. Due to the design and communication flexibility of the HSM, it's able to be either stand-alone or fully integrated into a plant wide information system. The stand-alone application is made possible with GraceSense web interface to configure temperature thresholds, monitoring intervals and relay outputs.

The GraceSense HSM is intended for locations that are difficult and hazardous to access. This device not only measures the temperature at any given point in time, but it also proactively monitors and enables the user to predict the failure before a potential shutdown.

Meet Challenges With The New 58TP Programmable Thru-Bore Encoder!

Encoder Products Company (EPC) has now introduced a new 58 mm, thru-bore, programmable encoder, the Model 58TP. The 58TP is specifically designed for the challenges of an industrial environment. In addition to its rugged, industrial housing, the Model 58TP offers an advanced set of electronics that allow the encoder to be programmed for exact application needs.

Users may choose from 6 output types, 32 different waveforms, and program any resolution from 1 to 65,536 CPR. These programming features allow a single encoder to be configured for multiple applications, enabling one encoder to replace many different part numbers, and provided cost savings on inventory and down-time replacement.

Key Features of the Model 58TP:

  • Thru-bore or hollow-bore options
  • Programmable waveform - 32 options
  • Programmable output type - 6 different output types
  • Programmable resolution - program any resolution from 1 to 65,536 CPR
  • Standard and metric bore sizes up to 5/8" or 15 mm
  • Multiple flex mount options
  • Seven different connector types
  • Sealing up to IP67
  • Operating temperature option of -40° to 100° C

Banner's LTF, Now With IO-Link: Offering Robust Two-Way Communication, Reliable Detection, and Exceptional Accuracy!

What is IO-Link?

IO-Link is a point-to-point serial communication protocol used to communicate with sensors and devices that support IO-Link and are connected to a master device.  CLICK HERE for more information on IO-Link and its key features.

Banner's long-range time-of-flight laser measurement sensor, the LTF, has now added IO-Link to its list of many benefits.  The L-GAGE LTF now offers models with two independently configurable discrete outputs and the IO-Link industrial protocol. These new models now allow for robust two-way communication between the sensor and master device. Regardless of target color, material, or reflectivity, Banner's LTF series provides exceptional accuracy over long distances and reliable detection. CLICK HERE to learn more about Banner's LTF long-range accuracy sensor.

Benefits of LTF with IO-Link:
  • Remote Configuration
  • Remote Monitoring
  • Extended Diagnostics
  • Simple Device Replacement
  • Interface Versatility
  • Simplifies Wiring, Preventative Maintenance, and Device Replacement
