Q4X Analog Laser Measurement Sensor

The Q4X analog versatile, rugged laser measurement sensor is the latest addition to the family of Q4X sensors, building upon the success of the Q4X discrete model, which has solved challenging applications across many industries.

As a new addition to Banner's measurement sensor offering, the Q4X analog expands the types of applications Banner can solve, providing continuous measurement of challenging targets from dark to reflective out to 300 mm. In addition to its longer range and greater excess gain, the Q4X is now further differentiated from the LR-Z, which is only available with discrete outputs.

  • Reliably detects submillimeter distance changes
  • Continuous measurement of challenging targets from dark to reflective, out to 300 mm
  • Simplified user experience with analog (V) or distance (mm) readout from the angled, four-digit display
  • Easy setup with responsive buttons
  • Durable and robust construction resists mechanical impact, over tightening and extreme vibration
  • FDA-grade stainless steel, chemically-resistant housing rated to IP69K and laser-marked sensor information withstands aggressive cleaning procedures
  • Superior ambient light resistance

  • Fill level indication
  • Part positioning
  • Roll diameter
  • Loop control
  • Thickness/height verification
  • Many other challenging applications

TURCK's New Extremelife-60 Cables

To answer the need for cables that can withstand the harshest cold weather environments imaginable; TURCK announces a new platform cable offering, extremelife-60.

TURCK's extremelife-60 cables are designed with a specially engineered proprietary cable jacket material. These cables remain flexible enough to work with even at -40°C and carry UL -60°C cold bend and UL/ CSA -40°C cold impact listing as well as the FT4 flame rating.

Extremelife - 60 cables also have ITC and PLTC approval from UL, as well as CIC approval from CSA which makes these cables code  compliant for NEC and CEC Class 1 Devision 2 hazardous location applications. Furthermore, TURCK's extremelife-60 cables carry Oil Res I and Oil Res II approvals and are UL listed  for exposed run (ER) and direct burial. This mean the cables are a logical fit for cold weather oil and gas installations where flexibility in the cold along with a UL/CSA listed and hazardous location rated jacket has always been a challenge. All of these attributes combine to bring a cable that will result in less downtime and more cost savings in a fully compliant offering.

The extremelife-60 cables are available in a wide variety of AWG sizes, constructions, conductor counts, and cable jacket colors.
