MiR1000 is now here!

MIR 1000

MiR1000 is designed to automate and optimize the internal transportation of heavy duties and pallets. With a payload of 1000 kg, this is MiR’s most powerful robot, and even in highly dynamic environments it can transport heavy loads without any exterior safety measures.

This collaborative robot is a safe alternative to traditional forklifts and trucks. Another advantage of the MiR1000 is that it does not need to be manned, so it optimizes the transportation of pallets and frees up employees for more valuable tasks.

  • Collaborative and autonomous: it maneuvers safely around all kinds of obstacles
  • Advanced technology and sophisticated software enable the robot to navigate autonomously and choose the most effective route to its destination
  • Equipped with the latest laser-scanner technology and that delivers a 360-degree visual for optimal safety
  • MiR1000 can be deployed with pallet lifts from MiR and can pick up, transport and deliver pallets automatically

For more information about the MiR1000, give us a call at (800) 228-2790!

Integrating Fluid Power Into Safety Functions:

Safety functions are the Safety Related Parts of the Control Circuit which reduce risk to an acceptable level by the safety and reliable removal of power from hazardous motion and other sources. Pneumatic and Hydraulic cylinders are still the primary sources of motion in Industrial Manufacturing Machines. One of the leading causes of injury is the uncontrolled rapid motion of pneumatic cylinders when clearing a jam because pressure has not been relieved. To assure reliable operation of these Safety Functions, the failure mode of these fluid power devices must be understood and managed. The seminar will review the selection and design of safeguarding circuits with emphasis on the incorporation of fluid power devices.- Instructor: Heinz Knackstedt-C&E Safety Specialist

Siemens S7-1200F Fail-Safe PLC:

We'll take a look inside the Siemens compact fail-safe PLC, S7-1200F. Combining both standard and fail-safe IO and functionality on a single platform, you can build a simple fail-safe application and control it through an HMI. Siemens SIMATIC Safety Integrated is a safety integrated solution for everything from micro PLCs to PLCs with the highest demand; including PC-based wireless solutions and more. - Instructor: Steve Wright-C&E Safety Specialist and John Pipkin-C&E Automation Specialist

Safety Integration for VFDs:

General purpose drives are being used in more applications each day. Many of these applications require safe control and monitoring of the motor. The Siemens GP drive portfolio offers some of the most comprehensive safety functionality in the industry. In this session, you will learn about these safety features, which ones are right for your applications and how to implement them at your facility. - Instructors: Jay Swank-C&E Motion Specialist and Dennis Moore-Siemens Motion Consultant
