A New Generation of Hollow Bore Motors From Stober!

Stober has released its next generation of hollow bore motors. Due to the flange-mount hollow bore, these motors are ideal for passing cables, tooling, and pipes through the motor. They're available as direct drive or with an integrated planetary gear for ratios of 3,9, or 27:1. The compact design allows for minimum space between rolls/spindles. There are several mounting options available, including flange, shrink ring, and coupling. Other options for this series include magnetic brake, water or forced air cooling, and manual handwheel. The ball screw version is designed to directly rotate the ball screw nut as the shaft of the ball screw passes through the motor. The motor produces powerful torque and high stiffness with a low total weight, making it ideal for applications where the motor is also moving.

Stober's servo motors include dynamic motors with sensors that allow for precise control of angular or linear position, velocity, and acceleration in a compact and small package. Due to the use of high-quality components, Stober's motors are considered highly efficient while also reducing operating costs. Stober offers both high and low servo motors to fit unique applications. They're able to mount directly to gearboxes, eliminating a motor coupling, adapter, coupling housing, or additional input seals and bearings.
