Banner has released upgrades to their Vision Manager software for the VE series smart camera, making the PC programming software even more powerful. Individual tool results, such as X and Y coordinates, can now be exported over EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and Modbus/TCP with the new Industrial Protocol Flexible Map feature. Use the Logic tool to combine tool results using Boolean logic or to drive discrete outputs from tool results. The latest version of Banner's Vision Manager software is free and available now.
Vision Manager Software Upgrade:
- Support for the new, lower resolution WVGA and 1.3MP cameras, in addition to the 2MP camera
- Create custom Industrial Ethernet maps to export individual tool results
- Combine tool results or drive discrete IO using the Logic Tool
- Backup, restore, and reset to default settings through the emulator
- Choose to display only the image and annotations while in full screen image mode
- Image export sample application and source code now available
