Compact RFID Read/Write Head For Restricted Mounting
Turck has now released the TB-Q08, currently the smallest ISO15693 compliant RFID read/write head on the market with protection to IP67. The housing is able to integrate the antenna, electronics, and two LEDs visible from all directions, despite its compact dimensions of 32 x 20 x 80 mm. The LEDs indicate a functioning power supply as well as active read/write operations to the user.
The TB-Q08 has a compact rectangular design and 15cm long connection cable with an M12 connector, making it particularly suitable for use in restricted mounting conditions, such as small assembly and transport lines.
The TB-Q08 can fully play to its strengths in the identification of metal objects, when combined with Turck's new R10 and R12 tags. The new 10 and 12 mm diameter tags can be mounted directly in metal and are equipped with a chip, which supports password functions. In conjunction with Turck's BL ident RFID system, the user can implement simple brand protection, access protection and access rights management.

Siemens New S7-1200FC Safety Controller
One Controller For Standard And Safety Automation!
- Compact
- Modular
- Fail-safe
- Cost-effective
Siemens started with Safety PLCs back in the 1980's with the S5 family, proving their experience with safety and innovation. They have now moved their knowledge into the TIA Portal platform with the 1500F and 1200F safety. The 1200F has all the features and benefits of the standard 1200 controllers with the addition of digital safety I/O and CPU.
The new fail-safe CPU 1214 FC and CPU 1215 FC will expand the product portfolio of compact and modular SIMATIC S7-1200 controllers with fail-safe modules. The market segment of compact controllers is now served for the first time with a controller for standard and fail-safe applications.
Top Key Benefits with S7-1200F:
- Compact, powerful, cost-effective modular system with a scaleable CPU range & expandable I/O
- Investment protection through compatibility
- Simply an addition of fail-safe modules to the PLC
- Simple porting of existing application programs between S7-1200<> S7-1500
- Savings in design time
- Reduced downtimes. faster documentation, faster throughput
- Integrated Diagnostics & Automation Software

Banner EZ-Light K90 FDL Series Daylight Visible Indicators
Banner has released a K90 series of indicators that are now Daylight Visible. More visibility in areas with high levels of ambient light or direct sunlight is possible with these large lights. These lights are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Key differences between the K90FDL and K90TFDL:
The K90FDL models are available in 1-to 5-color models and only one color can be activated at a time. All models include a flashing input wire that will trigger any active color to flash at a rate of 1.6Hz. The K90TFDL models are meant for use when there is a possibility of more than one color being activated at a time. When more than one color is activated, the indicators will alternate between all active colors at a rate of 1 Hz. Models are available with two to five colors in one device.

Compact FEN20 Industrial Ethernet I/O Modules With Built-In Web Server From Turck
The FEN20 devices are available in two different designs. The small 4DIP-4DXP fits in small control boxes, control panels, or other existing housings. They can also be retrofitted to make push buttons and LED indicators quickly Ethernet ready. The large 16DXP is designed for the same type of application and provides up to 16 I/Os. It can be operated both as an input or output as a DXP variant. The module also provides the division of the I/O-signals into three independent potential groups which are isolated from each other and can be centrally controlled.
